giftCalled, anointed, healed, redeemed, delivered, gracious, comforted, crowned, joyful, praising, gifted an encouraged mothers in Europe & Israel, who pray for their children and schools…

It was a special moment that God laid Isaiah 61:1-3 on our hearts for MIP Europe & Israel.

Many mothers in Europe & Israel are anxious, stressed, discouraged and even lonely. How can these verses become real? That was my prayer! Shortly thereafter, God reminded me of an experience I had last year when we were in Dallas. Fern Nichols spoke about the MIP four steps of prayer. Although I know these steps inside and out, I sat totally captivated with many other mothers as I listened to her.

Fern started with Praise. Just by worshiping God’s Name, His character and characteristics, I can really experience God in my heart, thereby touching my innermost being and filling me with joy.

This was followed by Confession. It is like an exchange. I can let go of all worries, sins and fearful thoughts and exchange them for forgiveness, joy and freedom.

During Thanksgiving I experienced how a thankful heart becomes a joyful heart. What a treasure it is when I have learnt as a mother to expect God’s answers with a joyful and grateful heart.

After that came Intercession. Together with other mothers we prayed and claimed the most wonderful promises over our children. One of the greatest treasures was that we could see things in faith that did not even yet exist!

As Fern finished, I sat there completely moved to tears. What a gift! The MIP time with the four steps is the answer to Isaiah 61:1-3. It’s the fitness program, as it were, for a joyful, enthusiastic and happy mother's heart. At the same time we are a blessing to our children and their schools – how awesome!

Thus we, from the MIP Europe & Israel Team, joyfully continue. In the form of a small "MIP Gift Box” we bring mothers the good news. We pray and encourage them as mothers. It is so simple and yet so effective!

Warm wishes

Lord, I pray that You will direct _____’s steps, that he/she will know that You delight in every detail of his/her life, that even if he/she stumbles, he/she will never fall, for You are holding _____’s hand. From Psalm 37:23-24 (NLT)

Scripture Prayer for School Staff

Lord, I pray that _____ would do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above himself/herself, not looking to his/her own interests but to the interests of others. From Philippians 2:3-4 (NIV)

Scripture Prayer for School

Lord, may _____ experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then he/she will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. From Ephesians 3:19 (NLT)
